New Doors Improve Aesthetics and Durability in Hospital

A healthcare facility needed to replace a large number of openings.
Solution
DH Pace was able to supply and install new doors with a finish that matched the doors in the rest of the hospital for a cohesive appearance. The customer appreciated that DH Pace could complete the entire job without the need for a general contractor.
Every door in view of the public with the old finish was replaced. In all, 381 doors were replaced, greatly improving the aesthetic of the hospital. The new doors were plastic laminate doors to provide durability for these high traffic areas. Plastic laminate resists scratches, scuffs and stains, and experiences minimal or no fading or other changes in appearance over time. They are also low maintenance, easy to clean, and antimicrobial – a key point for a hospital.
The result was a fresh, updated look for the hospital with new doors ready to withstand the daily use and abuse of high traffic areas.
